Establish Risk based QMS/QHSE audit plan and programs for the manufacturing plant and all supporting departments, extending to market and supplier audits.
Focus on consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing their satisfaction.
Determine the scope, format and frequency in conjunction with the Head of QHSE and departmental managers and prepare the agreed annual audit schedule.
Monitor all in process quality check records and manuals for accuracy.
Demonstrate compliance through verification as necessary in order to meet the business requirements.
Identify areas requiring further training and ensure gaps are closed within an agreed time frame.
Act as an objective source of independent advice to each department regarding QMS.
Always ensure information validity, legality and goal achievement
Complete all audits as per schedule against Mai Dubai policy and procedures.
Effectively communicate all gaps found in clear reports promptly shared with auditees.
Conduct follow up audits to monitor progress and identify where further management support is needed.
Be proactive in gaining knowledge regarding local and international regulations, industry best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
Provide support and guidance to management on how to rectify any non-compliances raised
Assessing how well the business is complying with rules and regulations through Quarterly Summary Reports highlighting any deviation which have not been closed out effectively.
Enhance quality culture across the organization, promoting awareness and opportunity for continuous improvement
Complement the existing quality team in achieving overall department KPI’s in Food Safety, Cost Saving, Environmental awareness etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
Degree/ Diploma in Food Technology or Bio Sciences, bachelor’s degree in chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Home Sciences, Food Technology or any other related fields.
Min. 5 years of work experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Company preferably in Food and Beverage Industry. 10 years in any FMCG retail industry preferably in Beverage Production Plants in the MENA Region
Knowledge of Handling QMS/H&S Systems in a FMCG plant. Experienced in handling Document & Compliance Management Software’s.
Competent in conducting and handling ISO QMS, FSMS, H&S Internal and External Audits.
Knowledge of QMS, FSMS, HACCP, ISO Standards, HSE and other Quality Systems.
Experienced in developing departmental SOPs, Forms and other Governance Documents.
Exposed to GMP, GHK practices in the Food Industry
Drive for results, problem solving, planning, organizing and coordinating. Must be competent in Microsoft Office
Understanding the complete water treatment and packaging technologies.
People management skills / Excellent communication and presentation skills
