Job Description:
As a Private Label Product Executive, you will play a crucial role in creating, launching, and managing our private label product line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and procurement, to bring exceptional products to market. Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- Identify market trends and opportunities for private label products in the [industry].
- Research and select product categories to target based on market analysis and customer demand.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to develop innovative, high-quality private label products within budgets outlined.
Product Launch:
- Manage the end-to-end product launch process, from ideation to commercialization.
- Create product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing plans.
- Coordinate packaging design, branding, and product labeling.
Product Management:
- Monitor product performance, sales, and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.
Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about market trends and competitors’ private label products.
- Use data and insights to drive strategic decisions and product enhancements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product campaigns and promotions.
- Partner with the procurement and finance team to negotiate supplier contracts, payment terms and manage inventory.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharma / Science or a related field (Master’s degree and Science Background is a plus).
- Proven experience in product management or development, preferably in private label categries ( Nutrition , Personal Care , Medical Equipment categories).
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- A deep understanding of consumer preferences and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Power point and Excel is a must
