Roles & Responsibilities
- Should have strong Industrial Knowledge in Estimation & Design of Fire Fighting System
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.
- Analyze project plans and determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods of construction.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a database of material costs, labor rates, and other cost factors to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to improve project profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying any deviations from the original estimate and making necessary adjustments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in materials, labor rates, and construction methods to ensure accurate and competitive estimations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present estimates to clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
