Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Should have strong Industrial Knowledge in Estimation & Design of Fire Fighting System
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.
• Analyze project plans and determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods of construction.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain a database of material costs, labor rates, and other cost factors to enhance estimation accuracy.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to improve project profitability.
• Prepare comprehensive and detailed estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying any deviations from the original estimate and making necessary adjustments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in materials, labor rates, and construction methods to ensure accurate and competitive estimations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present estimates to clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
