Automotive Chassis Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive chassis components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform structural analysis and simulation to optimize chassis performance and durability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems with other vehicle components.
• Conduct design reviews and generate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
• Evaluate and select materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes for chassis components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chassis design and performance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automotive chassis design.
• Support prototype and production build activities, including testing and validation of chassis systems.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of chassis components.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of chassis design principles and industry standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive chassis design.
• Experience with structural analysis and simulation tools, such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
