Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish beneficial business relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for cost savings or improved procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between purchasing activities and overall business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and take appropriate actions to address any deficiencies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry regulations, market trends, and supplier networks.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and establishing beneficial supplier relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and organized to maintain accurate records and manage multiple suppliers concurrently.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, Japanese) is a plus.
