Job Description
Job Title: Kitchen Equipment Technician Department: Engineering Salary: Basic 2,200 + Food, Transport and sharing accommodation for self is provided by company Job Summary: To operate, repair, troubleshoot, maintains and install the club’s kitchen, refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment. Attend to maintenance requests, as assigned by supervisors in accordance with departmental standards. Job Duties: • To carry-out operation, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of all kitchen (gas and electric), laundry, refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment and associated plant. • To carry-out major overhauling of all kitchen (gas and electric), refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment. • To carry-out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on all kitchen (gas and electric), laundry, refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment and associated plant. • To carry-out new installation of all kitchen (gas and electric), laundry, refrigeration and electro-mechanical equipment and associated plant when necessary. • To check daily temperatures of all refrigerated stores and inspect the respective condensing units for proper function. • To report to his superiors all deficiencies in equipment operation and defects within the area of his responsibility noted in the course of his duty. • Control of all heat, light and power equipment according to the need and demand of the club. • To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times. • To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work. • To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform, particularly when working in guest areas Job Requirements: • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. • 1 year experience in a similar position • Fluent in spoken English
