Hiring for the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager with one of our clients in Hospitality. Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Department: Food & Beverage Service Job Location: Dubai Salary: AED 9,500 All Inclusive + Duty Meals (Accommodation & Transport is NOT provided by client) Purpose and Scope of Position: To assist the Food & Beverage Manager in managing and developing the F&B Outlet to optimize guest satisfaction by exceeding guest expectations whilst at the same time maximizing revenue/ departmental profits and keeping operating costs within budget levels. Main Duties: Together with the senior Food & Beverage management, Outlet managers to agree, implement, monitor and control Food & beverage service operating standards. To monitor guest feedback and recommend revising service standards as necessary. To assist in the development and updating of the SOP Manual for Food and Beverage Service. To liaise with the Outlet Chef to ensure that all food items are produced according to the set standards. To prepare weekly duty rotas and to minimize overtime, where possible. To assist in the identification of food service training and development needs, ensuring all new employees receive an induction program and that all new and existing staff have the required skills and knowledge to carry out their duties, including annual fire, health & safety and food hygiene training. To deliver on-and-off job training as required. To assist in the recruitment and selection of new staff, ensuring that headcounts are kept within agreed budget levels and that the Human Resources department is involved at all times. To ensure that all outlet staff adhere to company dress standards (including name badge) and personal hygiene standards. To ensure that all outlet staff have up to date food handlers cards. To implement, organize, monitor and control the outlet cleaning schedules, ensuring that they are carried out to company specifications. To ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury to guests and employees. To report any accidents or potential hazards, including maintenance requirements to your immediate supervisor. To keep the log book up to date. To take immediate action to solve guests’ problems, ensuring that mutually agreeable solutions are reached at the earliest convenient time and ensuring that decisions are made at the appropriate level. To keep senior food & beverage management informed of guests’ problems and action taken. To appraise subordinates prior to the end of the probation period and thereafter on an annual basis, ensuring that the individual career passports are updated. To supervise and motivate subordinates creating a cohesive working team. Job Specification: Fluency in written and spoken and English Two years or more, experience in a similar managerial position Five years in Food and Beverage Service Prefer candidates with prior experience working in Sports Bar/ five-star property in Dubai
