What you’ll be doing

– Generate monthly P&L.
– Support with variance analysis on monthly results (variances vs PY and Budget) and liaise with stakeholders to:
– Obtain reasons for variances.
– Ensure correction entries are posted if errors are identified; etc.
– Support Senior Finance Business Partner in preparing the budgets and reviews.
– Support in ensuring accuracy, validity and necessary approvals are obtained for invoices charged by vendor, processing invoices & regularly updating invoice tracker.
– Track CAPEX movement, Fixed Asset Register & support in communicating the monthly committed CAPEX.
– Update the monthly tracker for accounting reclasses and accruals.
– Support to prepare the board meeting presentations & monthly highlights presentations.
– Support in documenting processes and user manuals for specific tasks.
– Support Senior Finance Business Partner with ad-hoc reporting requirements or projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CIMA/ACMA preferred) or Finance.
– Excel knowledge must be advanced – this is essential (experience in handling large scale and complex data sets)
– Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Nav, Qlik/Microsoft BI.
– Detail orientated, well organized, focused, able to readily adapt and lead in a changing environment.
– Strong communication and are good at building relationships.
– Self-starter who takes initiative, is pro-active and makes proposal of process improvement and/or tool development.
