Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (KCGEB) in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi has opening for evolutionary computational biologist. A PhD or master’s in biology or a related field is required, and experience in the analysis of next-generation sequencing data, whole genome alignments, and assemblies is preferred.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Candidate should be very familiar with computational biology methods as well as population genomic scientific programming basics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic center where he works in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary environment and will have the opportunity to validate his computational findings in an experimental lab. He will interact with different researcher and require building capacity and strengths in bioinformatics, computational genomics, population genetics.
