• Used FIFO technique to manage approximately $100 Million in inventory, 2 warehouses and 32 headcounts in a 150,000 Sq. ft warehouse each, 7 Trailers, and increased warehouse efficiency by streamlining and enhancing operational workflows. • Continuous tracking of Trailers to ensure highest efficiency is achieved during transportation • Significantly reduced damages from production units with the enhancement of compliance rules through the application of stringent quality and quantity verification processes against dispatched lists and invoices of received items, and the enforcement of immediate return policies to production unit at the time of receiving goods. • Facilitated quick finding of items with the enforcement of proper labelling, appropriate labels, and item description measures together with Quality department, assessed the effectiveness of warehouse operations and personnel performance; participated in cost-cutting initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers and negotiating their costs and payment terms. • Involved in sourcing new supplier for materials purchase, negotiating for lowest price and cost saving. • Conducted audits to check for compliance with the requirements at the supplier side and involved in approving the suppliers • Led the development and implementation of high-impact organizational plans and inventory programs, rapid delivery of time-sensitive materials and audit compliance with industry regulations. • Analysed reports on non-moving products based on sales history and forecast, and collaborated with management to decide on reduction actions, moved products to the appropriate storage space based on their types and sizes and drafted allocation details and files on database accordingly. • Coordinated with Shipping/ Inventory Control / Accounts Department for costing and posting of outbound and reception of inbound shipments, price negotiations with 3rd party logistic providers. • Made sure that Goods Receipts were completed for all inbound shipments received in SAP, that items were sorted, labelled, and kept in an organized manner, and that invoices were forwarded to Accounts for posting. • Monitored and reported on transportation expenses, made sure shipping documentation were filed correctly, kept track of the Team's outgoing shipments, ensured the sorting into categories by labelling the products or boxes, and palletized for delivery to client locations. • Quarterly evaluated Stock replenishment guidelines, designed efforts for waste reduction and optimized warehouse space to enhance storage capacity and decrease picking time. • Ensured periodic and timely maintenance of material handling equipment and other installed devises, and reported to IT for system related issues, reports, WMS process enhancement.
