Job Description
Perform long-term financial planning and analysis aimed at identifying risks, opportunities, and options for attainment of the company mission under supervision of the superior;
• Monitor compliance to established benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance and analyze the gaps;
• Manage department in compliance to financial policies, practices and procedures of the company;
• Preparation of Company Annual Master Budget;
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against approved Budget;
• Oversee daily operations of the department;
• Provide all financial reports;
• Prepare financial outlooks and financial forecasts;
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions;
• Ensure internal controls are in place and secure accurate reporting on financial results;
• Clearly communicate financial information, plans and options to the higher management to facilitate informed decision making;
• Work with other department managers to develop long term business plans;
• Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures;
• Maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives;
• Manage financial audits;
• Analyze and review every facet of the business, including revenue return, pricing, forecasting and take the appropriate actions to achieve net profit improvement;
• Take initiative with ideas and actively help lead the company regarding strategic and tactical management issues, bringing financial and general management expertise to the company’s leadership;
• Maintain strict confidentiality of internal and external information;
• Assist line manager to develop and support strong external relationships with bankers, investment advisors, legal counsel, auditors and other providers of corporate services to company;
• Execute other tasks assigned by line manager and Executives.
Additional Responsibilities
• Represent the company externally to auditors, customers and suppliers;
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff;
• Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff;
• Coordinate with the management to ensure company objectives are met.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Financial Accounting and Management
• CMA/CPA qualified
• A minimum of 10+ years accounting and auditing experience in Manufacturing field
• Solid knowledge of SAP is a must (S/4 Hana experience is an advantage)
• Exceptional technical and analytical accounting skills, specifically in the areas or financial modeling, analysis and reporting
• Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience
• Good understanding of relevant legislation and internal and external compliance requirements
• Experience managing day to day operational in fast changing environment
