Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive chassis components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform structural analysis and simulation to optimize chassis performance and durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems with other vehicle components.
- Conduct design reviews and generate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
- Evaluate and select materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes for chassis components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chassis design and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automotive chassis design.
- Support prototype and production build activities, including testing and validation of chassis systems.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of chassis components.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Strong knowledge of chassis design principles and industry standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive chassis design.
- Experience with structural analysis and simulation tools, such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
