Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the dewatering operations at the site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project deadlines.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of dewatering operations and identify potential risks.
- Design and implement dewatering systems, including selecting appropriate equipment and materials.
- Monitor and maintain dewatering equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of dewatering plans.
- Prepare and present reports on dewatering activities, including progress updates, cost analyses, and risk assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in dewatering technology, incorporating best practices into project plans.
- Foster a culture of safety and accountability on the site, promoting adherence to established protocols and regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of dewatering principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- At least 5 years of experience in dewatering operations, preferably in the construction or mining industry.
