Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of all pool patrons.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Conduct regular pool inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons with any inquiries or concerns.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Monitor pool water chemistry and make necessary adjustments.
• Organize and facilitate swimming lessons and other aquatic programs.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and daily pool usage.
• Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current with lifeguarding techniques and certifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must have a valid lifeguard certification from a recognized training organization.
• Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues in various water conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patrons of all ages.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry.
• Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
