Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all pool patrons.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Conduct regular pool inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons with any inquiries or concerns.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
- Monitor pool water chemistry and make necessary adjustments.
- Organize and facilitate swimming lessons and other aquatic programs.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and daily pool usage.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current with lifeguarding techniques and certifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must have a valid lifeguard certification from a recognized training organization.
- Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues in various water conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patrons of all ages.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry.
- Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
