Roles & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair various types of printers, including laser, inkjet, and thermal printers.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of printers to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace printer parts and components as needed, such as printheads, rollers, and ink cartridges.
- Install printer drivers and software on client systems and ensure compatibility with different operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve printer connectivity issues, such as network or USB connection problems.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, both remotely and on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of printer repairs, including problem description, actions taken, and parts used.
- Stay updated with the latest printer technologies and trends to provide efficient and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to troubleshoot complex printer issues.
- Train end-users on printer operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
