Knowledge

? Deep understanding of the financial activities of licensed companies within the energy sector.

? Deep understanding of the business of the energy sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates.

? Accurate knowledge and experience of financial management, investment analysis and due diligence.

? Full knowledge of preparing financial reports, budget reports, and financial audits in accordance with best practices.



Capacity

? The ability to analyze budgets and investment activities within the energy sector.

? The ability to monitor financial plans and discretionary budgets.

? The ability to inform investment decisions based on analysis of financial information in order to anticipate sector trends and economic conditions.

? Ability to provide oral or written reports regarding financial reporting, budgeting, investments, and audits.

? The ability to keep abreast of the latest changes within the sector and the impacts on financial management and investments in the sector.

? Ability to work with key stakeholders (including government officials),  leadership and management, external parties and advisory offices.

? The ability to collect and analyze various information and make effective decisions.



General objective of the job:-

The Head of the Regulatory Financial Accounts Section is responsible for managing the process of reviewing and/or approving the support budget for the sector and reviewing the financial statements and its financial performance, in accordance with the regulations, rules and standards applicable to licensed entities or new license applicants.



The Head of the Regulatory Financial Accounts Section is responsible for the overall supervision and evaluation of the financial performance and financial health of licensed companies operating in the sector.



 

Specialized tasks:-

? Manage the process of reviewing and approving support budgets for companies licensed to submit to the Department of Finance, taking into account the applicable price control systems and subsidy payment contracts or green contracts (without conducting a detailed review and approving capital or operational expenditure budgets).

Profile Description

? Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, business administration, or economics.
? At least 6 to 8 years of experience in a related field.
