Job Description
The College of Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of Sustainable Construction management. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of life cycle assessment and embodied energy. The candidate should have excellent communications skills, attention to detail, data collection and analysis proficiency. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in task planning and scheduling.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification
An Architectural Engineering degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following:
– Prior related research experience
– Ability to analyze and synthesize multi-source data
– Good technical writing skills
– Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.
Preferred Qualification
– Demonstrable willingness to cooperate and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
– Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
– Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace
