Knowledge in commercial & INCO-Terms, technical terminologies and Procurement Process.

– Performs Category Manager’s functions and exercises financial authority as established by
Management for the position to provide centralized procurement services in a quality oriented, cost
effective and timely manner for the satisfaction of internal clients (all company divisions).
– Prepares negotiation plan and guides the procurement specialists in negotiations and participates in
negotiation committees.
– Participates in various committees to implement cost cutting measures, urgent project
implementation, preparation of long term business plan, i performance enhancement measures and
suggests work around as applicable.
– Supervises and provides directions to the subordinates in performing their activities in line with
company policy & procedures and best industrial practices.
– Exercises financial authorities delegated to the position with regards to Bidders List Approval, RFQ
invitations, Award Approval, Purchase Order / Long Term Price Agreement (LTPA) approval & Signature
and Change Orders.
– Reviews and endorses bidders’ lists, requests for quotations, bid analysis, purchase recommendations,
submissions to Tender Board, Purchase Orders & change orders for value exceeding financial
authorities.
