Job Description

Reviews periodic MIS reports and provides directions to the subordinates for improvement.

Conducts regular meetings with various company divisions and vendors/suppliers’ management, highlights trends, implications and specific areas requiring improvements, and reports to Department Management together with recommendations for change.

Ensures that effective communications are provided to users to keep them advised of status/progress of materials and that adequate information is furnished to them on availability, price and delivery schedules particularly of critical materials.

Advises users on developments/trends in materials usage in the oil industry.

Develops Performance Agreement Plan in consultation with Dept. Manager and direct reports. Provides feedback to Dept. Manager about performance of the direct reports for their annual performance appraisal.

Resolve suppliers issues related to their payments, discrepancies, company online system, technical clarifications etc. in coordination with respective divisions.

Resolve KPI related issues with planning team, ITD and ADNOC GPU and ERP related issues with ITD.

Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned by Dept. Manager / VP-Procurement

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management or any relevant discipline to the portfolio

7 or more years of experience in supply chain or purchasing function. Working knowledge of the technical and commercial terminologies and aspects of the relevant portfolio.

Analytical and mathematical skills.
