• Salary: £13.00 – £25.00 per hour

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential

• Hours: 39-45 hours per week

• Immediate Start

• Permanent position

• Location: London, Whitley Bay, High Wycombe, Stroud, Yelverton, Bristol.

• English Required: Conversational

Duties for the Upholsterer Role:

• Using power and hand tools to build the entire sofa from start to finish.

• Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.

• Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns, stencils, and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.

Ideal Upholsterer Candidate:

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work with the ability to produce good quality work

• Fully skilled and experienced in all aspects of upholstery, including deep buttoning and fixed seating

• Ability to use own initiative, work fast and under pressure to meet production demands

• Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads, team player

• Manual handling knowledge and physically fit to lift heavy loads.
